Daily Water test

We've set up the aquarium with a few fish and live plants. Now we have to test the water for pH, nitrites, nitrates, and ammonia to maintain a healthy tank. We record our results and then will chart our results to see the nitrogen cycle in action.

The Opera

The Lower El class visited the Capitol Center for the Arts and saw the Magic Flute. A great time was had by all--we hope to do another next year!

Setting up the Fish Tank

We set up the fish tank; added live plants; and tested the water for pH, nitrates, nitrites, and ammonia (for our daily log.) Fish will come in later in the week.
