Class Work

Working on French irregular verbs and French grammar. There is a picture of Henry VIII in the background with his six wives. The Jr. High is studying Henry VIII in preparation for our trip to England and Iceland. In England we will visit Hampton Court, home of Henry VIII.

February Community Meeting

Today we had the Community Meeting. This month it was hosted by the Upper Elementary Class. We put on the play "Outwitting the Imp", an African folk tale. All of the classrooms shared news and showed work that they have been exploring.

Robotics

Today was our first day of robotics this year. Our first challange was the labyrinth--teams of students have to build a robot that can navigate a maze in the shortest amount of time. The class will work during the week on this challange and we will have the competition next Tuesday morning to see who has the fastest time of the eight teams.
